Old Business:

Howard explains to new Board members how we became the holders of the Guemes Gold Scholarship Funds. Carol reports that this year’s awards will be determined on April 29th with the awards being presented May 5th at 3pm at the Guemes Church.

Leota reports on the Line Time issues. She had continued to be unable to post on the site but after meeting with Joseph and MJ and assured she was doing the appropriate steps she was still unsuccessful. She finally determined that if she used the Firefox internet browser she was able without difficulty to load onto our site on Line Time. Connie Snell requests she make a “cheat sheet” so that others can again use the site.

Howard reports there is slow progress through the steps to make Casperson Point name a reality. Currently the state board has asked the county to review it.

Regarding the Island Junk pickup report, Bob Groeschell and Kevin Green are both absent today. Bob had been going to make a poster/sign regarding the service. We’ll pick up the report at our next meeting.

After a lengthy discussion ensued with various ideas for topics and speakers with a decision made to ask Dyvon Havens to speak regarding varmint and disease control.
